Psp Karaoke homebrew developer Hyve 647846 just came up with a PSP application that can let your PSP play MP3+G files, basically turning your handheld into a portable karaoke machine. Dubbed pspKaraoke, this MP3+G player can let users change the background image by replacing the default BG.PNG file with an image of their choice (provided that it’s in .PNG format, of course). Also, Hyve 647846 plans to add a slideshow feature in the future, that will run while the song is playing, just like most earlier karaoke machines.
Stumped on how to get this nifty program to work? Here’s some useful tips quoted from the homebrew developer:
The player will play songs from the MP3G folder. The songs have to be named m1.mp3, m2.mp3,
with a corresponding m1.cdg. The will be used as the song number.
